Iron Maiden?s highly anticipated EddFest weekend this summer has just got even bigger with the announcement that Blaze Bayley, who fronted the band from 1994 to 1999, will be headlining the Friday night Maidenville stage. He is the latest name to be revealed, as part of the all-encompassing celebration of Iron Maiden’s 50th Anniversary that will be taking place on the iconic Knebworth site.
?I?m so excited to be invited to headline Friday night at EddFest, celebrating 50 years of Iron Maiden,? says Blaze. ?I am so proud of my two albums with the band and I’m really looking forward to playing some of the songs that we recorded together. Can’t wait to see you all at the hallowed grounds of Knebworth!?
Fans can expect to hear Blaze Bayley and his band deliver a powerful set of songs from The X Factor and Virtual XI, the albums he released during his time as Iron Maiden?s lead singer. Blaze co-wrote some of the songs on those albums with band founder Steve Harris, and Friday night?s Maidenville stage has been personally curated by Steve to showcase many elements of his musical career.
Steve has also invited Gypsy?s Kiss, the band he formed in 1974 with singer and guitarist, David Smith, to perform on the Maidenville stage on Friday night too. As the very first band Steve ever played with they were an instrumental part of Steve?s journey to form Iron Maiden a year later.
Steve says, ?Having the opportunity to put together our very own festival at Knebworth, and celebrate 50 years of Iron Maiden, has given me a chance to bring together friends past and present and create a really special weekend for the fans.
I?m very pleased that Blaze is able to join us and perform some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the 90s. He has been a big part of Iron Maiden?s career and I know the fans will be really excited to see him on stage at EddFest. It?s also great to have Gypsy?s Kiss playing with us at Knebworth too. They were a big part of my musical heritage and it?s really exciting to have them play at the Maidenville stage.?

Promoter LIVE NATION regret to announce an unexpected scheduling issue where restrictions on simultaneous events at Exposition Park, LA have meant Iron Maiden?s Saturday, September 26 show at the 22,000 capacity BMO Stadium has had to be rescheduled to the following day Sunday, September 27th.  This is specifically due to the USC Trojans vs Oregon Ducks college football game taking place at the neighbouring 100,000 capacity Memorial Coliseum stadium.
This is an unprecedented circumstance and is unfortunately entirely outside of either our or the band?s control. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding as we comply with venue and city regulations.
Commented Iron Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood ? ?We were completely shocked when we were told about this unique situation affecting our sold out LA show on the Saturday night. We have worked with the team at Live Nation and rather than cancelling this second show we were thankfully able to move the show to the following night , Sunday Sept 27?. We are naturally mortified at the issues and inconvenience raised for our fans who hold tickets but there is sadly nothing we can do other than move the show a day later”
The Friday September 25th performance at BMO Stadium remains unchanged. All tickets purchased for Saturday, September 26 will be honoured for the rescheduled show on Sunday, September 27. Emails have been sent to ticket holders with further details.
Iron Maiden announce the highly anticipated Australasia dates of their critically acclaimed Run For Your Lives World Tour.
November 2026
07 – Auckland, NEW ZEALAND – Spark Arena
11 – Adelaide, AUSTRALIA – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
13 – Melbourne, AUSTRALIA – AAMI Park
15 – Sydney, AUSTRALIA – Allianz Stadium
18 – Brisbane, AUSTRALIA – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Since the band?s first visit to Australia in November 1982, playing to 2000 fans at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney as part of the Beast On The Road Tour, Iron Maiden have returned regularly, playing bigger and bigger shows each time. And now, in celebration of their 50th Anniversary, Maiden return for their eighth tour Down Under, headlining outdoor stadiums for the first time in both Melbourne and Sydney, as well as arenas in Adelaide and Brisbane. They will also be returning to New Zealand, having visited for the first time in 1992 on the Fear Of The Dark Tour, once again playing at the Spark Arena in Auckland. These large venues will allow fans the chance to witness the brand new, state-of-the-art production, on the scale it is intended for, to accompany the once-in-a-lifetime setlist of songs from the band?s groundbreaking first nine albums.
As a special treat for their fans in Australia & New Zealand, Iron Maiden will bring as their very special guests for these shows, Megadeth, who recently celebrated a number one album for their self-titled final studio release in both Australia and the USA where they will also be touring with Maiden.
Steve says, ?We are very excited to be bringing this tour to Australia & New Zealand later this year. And even more so as we are bringing Megadeth with us. Dave and I have been friends for years and we are very proud to have them as our special guests on their last-ever world tour. I think our fans will really appreciate this and it will make it an even more memorable show for everyone. We very much look forward to getting down there to see you all at the end of 2026!?
Rod comments, ?We are delighted to be returning to Australia and New Zealand just two years after our last visit to that part of the world. It?s always a great experience playing to our fans there, and we know they really appreciate seeing us whenever we can visit. And this time we are playing some new outdoor venues too, including the Allianz Stadium in Sydney and AAMI Park in Melbourne. I can promise our fans that they are in for a real treat with this setlist and show. The band have been loving revisiting this era and especially enjoy playing these songs with the state-of-the-art visuals we?ve created to accompany them. We?ve got all the big ones from the early days including Hallowed Be Thy Name, Run To The Hills, Phantom of the Opera, Trooper, Number Of The Beast, Killers, Powerslave, 2 Minutes To Midnight and more. Plus there?s some true epics including Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, which will be even more special because these shows will be at the very end of The Run For Your Lives Tour, and so the final time the band will ever be playing a number of these songs.”
?One thing to add, it was really special on our European dates last year to see that the vast majority of our fans appreciated and respected our request to severely limit their use of phones at our concerts, ideally just keeping it in their pockets the whole time, especially in those standing areas in front of the stage. Our fans? understanding and cooperation made a colossal difference to the atmosphere of every show and increased the enjoyment enormously for the band and fans alike. Therefore we ask all our fans in Australia and New Zealand to do the same and enjoy the show ?in the moment? rather than film on their phones. Please keep them in your pockets.”
?As it was first ?tested? in Australasia on The Future Past Tour we will be bringing the now hugely popular Eddie?s Pop-up Dive Bar experience back over with us. Our European fans loved these too and we?re convinced that the mix of Maiden fans, Trooper Beer & exclusive Tour merch makes for a winning combination.”
“Likewise, we will continue to offer the well-loved Trooper VIP Experience at all venues.”
Promoter Paul Dainty AO said, ?This will be Iron Maiden?s biggest tour of Australasia ever. Headlining stadiums in Melbourne and Sydney for the first time in their 50-year history is a massive moment. And with Megadeth joining the tour, this is going to be an absolute powerhouse night of metal ? two giants of the genre, one colossal production, and a show Maiden fans won?t know what hit them.?
Following this tour the band will take a well-earned break from touring in 2027.
Iron Maiden today announce the highly anticipated Japanese dates of their critically acclaimed Run For Your Lives World Tour. These will be the final shows of the entire two-year tour and the last chance for fans around the world to witness the state-of-the-art production that accompanies the once-in-a-lifetime setlist of songs from the band?s groundbreaking first nine albums.

24 – K-Arena, Yokohama – JAPAN
25 – K-Arena, Yokohama – JAPAN
Maiden first played in Japan in 1981, when they performed in Tokyo on the Killers World Tour, and since then have returned many times, building a life-long connection with their passionate and devoted Japanese fans. They have performed in a number of cities around the country, with Yokohama prominently featuring among them.
In fact their history of shows in the city stretches back to 1991 when Maiden first performed there on the No Prayer On The Road tour. Further concerts took place in 1992 on the Fear Of The Dark Tour, in 2000 on the Brave New World Tour and 2008 on the Somewhere Back In Time Tour.
And now, the band are returning once more with their spectacular new production, to perform for the first time at the K-Arena in the city. These two shows will be extra special as they are the very last shows the band will play until at least 2028, as they take a well-earned break from being on the road for the whole of 2027.
Steve says, ?We are very excited to be bringing this RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR to Japan later this year. And even more so as we are ending the entire two year world tour in Yokohama. I have always loved spending time in Japan, and we enjoy coming back whenever we can to play for our fans there. So it feels extra special for us to be sharing the final two nights of this incredible tour with you all in Japan. It?s going to make it a truly memorable occasion for us all.?
Rod comments, ?We are delighted to be returning to Japan once again. I know it may seem a long time for our Japanese fans to wait to see this show, but it means a lot to us to finish the tour there, and I can promise our fans that they are in for a treat with this setlist and production. We are very excited to share it with you!?

British Lion return to the stage in 2026, with a very special show in a very special place. For the first time ever, they will be performing in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, a city that has a strong connection with Steve.
The island nation, sitting between Cuba and the state of Florida, with strong historic links to Britain dating back to the 17th Century, became a sovereign member of the Commonwealth in 1973, and in 1977 Island Records founder Chris Blackwell established the legendary Compass Point Studios in Nassau, where the likes of ACDC, Robert Palmer, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Talking Heads and more recorded over the years.
In 1983 Iron Maiden recorded their fourth album Piece Of Mind at Compass Point Studios, and continued to record there for both their Powerslave and Somewhere In Time albums in the 1980s. In 2010 they returned to Nassau and Compass Point Studios once again for the recording of The Final Frontier album.
However, despite the long history of world-famous albums being made in the Bahamas, very few international artists have performed shows there. In a historic first for rock and metal, Steve will be taking to the stage for his debut live performance in the Bahamas, with BRITISH LION on April 8th at John Watling?s Distillery.
This show, supported by Tony Moore?s Awake, takes place just before BRITISH LION join the line-up for the five-day MONSTERS OF ROCK cruise in the Caribbean, which runs from April 12th ? 17th.
